Create and Export to Ad Serving

A buyer (agency contact) creates an ad server to the line items on a media plan. Under the Manage Ad Serving panel, you select a line item. You select the ad server and tag types.

Apply Ad Serving

1 Click the Actions button.

The drop menu appears.

2 Select Ad Serving from the Manage menu. The Manage Ad Serving panel appears.
3 Select a line item from the media plan. The line item highlights.
4 Select the ad server drop menu. The ad server selections appear.
5 Select the ad server.

The ad sizes and description appears in the Manage Ad Serving page. The ad server name appears in the line item description. The Apply to line item button is enabled.

6 Select the tag type for the ad size.

Note: Centro Platform supports mixed tag types for a single line item. The tag types are dependent on the ad server/format.

6a Enter additional field description/name, if applicable. (The maximum characters is 255.) Note: Centro Platform requires a unique name by line item.
7 Click the Copy icon of the tag type of an existing of ad size, if applicable.

A duplicate of the ad size appears. A "Copy of" text appears in the description field.

Note: Multiple placements export as a package.

7b Enter or modify the field description, if applicable. N/A
8 Repeat Steps 6-7 (if applicable) for the remaining ad sizes. Note: You continue creating multiple tag types per the ad size.
9 Click the Apply to line item. A confirmation message appears.

You also have the option to apply the same ad server to all line items. You select the ad server from the Manage Ad Serving panel. Apply to all button is enabled. Click the Apply to all. A confirmation message appears. The number of placements appear next to the ad server name. When you hover over the number, the tooltip appears with the tag type by ad size. You click the ad server name and the Manage Ad Serving panel appears for that line item. You modify the ad server, tag type, and description, if needed, and apply the changes to that line item.

You also have the option to review and modify the line item ad server details under the Manage Ad Serving panels. Select Ad Serving under the Actions button. Select a line item and the ad server, tag type, and description appears. Continue selecting the line item and view the ad serving details from the panel. You have the option to modify the line item and clicking Apply to line item. Saving the change closes the Manage Ad Serving panel.

For duplicate ad sizes, you export the multiple placements as a package. You also have the option to remove a duplicate until the start date with a revision. (A minimum of one ad size is required for each unique line item.) You add a duplicate with a revision through the life of the campaign with a revision.

You remove the ad server by changing the ad server to None from the drop menu and apply it to the line item.

Sizmek Ad Serving

From the Actions button, clicking the Export To Sizmek launches the Campaign Details, Placements, and Export application window.

2 Select Sizmek from the Export To menu. The Choose Sizmek Account page appears.
3 Select the account. The Export to Sizmek - Campaign Details appears.
4 Confirm the Campaign Name, Advertiser, and Start/End Dates. N/A
5 Select Continue. The Placements tab and quantity appear.
6 Select Export. Exporting progress bar appears.

 

The number of successful and/or failed placements appear in the results. When the site name is not found in Sizmek, a message appears. Contact Centro Platform support for assistance.

Note: The maximum value entered for booked impressions is 999,999,999. (Maximum number of digits is 9.)

DoubleClick Ad Serving

From the Actions button, clicking the Export To DoubleClick launches the Campaign Details, Placements, and Export application window.

a) Name

b) URL

6 Select the adjustment Dates* range from the Calendar icon, if applicable.
  • The default date is the current day.
7 Select Continue. The Placements tab and quantity appear.
8 Select Export. Exporting progress bar appears.

The number of successful and/or failed placements appear in the results.

DoubleClick Export Examples

Note: You have the ability to re-export to an ad server. Revised IOs may require a re-export. The new export does not create a new placement. The ad server edits the values for the current placement. The re-export displays the new Ordered Units across the placements.
